MML&K Government Solutions’ Chris Nolan Named to 2020 Bingham Fellows

Proving itself once again to be at the forefront of Kentucky policy and leadership, MML&K Government Solutions is proud to announce that Assistant Director of Government Relations J. Chris Nolan has been named to the Bingham Fellows Class of 2020 by Leadership Louisville.

The Bingham Fellows is an annual program created in 1988 to bring a diverse class of leaders from the Louisville community to address one of the region’s critical issues. The Bingham Fellows 2020 topic is “Making Louisville a Top-Tier City,” and the 2020 Class will engage with the community to address the issue and enact solutions over the course of the program year. The program focuses on enacting change in the community, leadership development and giving participants the skillsets to act as “leaders of leaders.” The group meets throughout the year with local stakeholders to garner insight and input.

Of his participation, Nolan said, “I’m excited and honored to be selected as a Bingham Fellow and have an opportunity to have such an impact on Louisville’s future. It’s important to me to use my experience and leadership skills on solutions for a city I love, but it’s even more important to gain greater skills and insight into how they can best be utilized.”

MML&K Government Solutions Executive Director Sean M. Cutter said, “We’re proud that Chris has been selected for this prestigious role. His selection as a community leader capable of tackling the issues facing Kentucky’s largest city is confirmation of his dedication, intellect and leadership ability.”

Nolan has more than two decades of lobbying and policy experience as a member of MML&K Government Solutions, joining the firm in 1999. He specializes in alcohol laws and regulations governing Kentucky’s signature bourbon industry, corporate taxes, liability insurance, telecommunications and state budget appropriations.

He is an inaugural inductee into the Order of the Writ, a prestigious bourbon society’s fraternal and charitable organization that embraces the spirit of Kentucky bourbon education, responsibility, environmental stewardship, history, and an unwavering commitment to the furtherance of America’s only native spirit. Nolan also is a certified Bourbon Steward and a 2014 graduate of Leadership Kentucky.
